Disclosures

How we're registered, exactly what we earn, and what to do if you're unhappy. Published because SEBI requires it — and because you should be able to see it without asking.

1. Who we are

2. What we are not

Niveshmart is not a SEBI Registered Investment Adviser. We do not provide investment advisory services for a fee and we hold no discretionary authority over any client's portfolio.

We act solely as a distributor of mutual fund schemes: we help you choose among schemes, complete the paperwork, and maintain your investments over time. Any opinion expressed is in our capacity as a distributor and must not be treated as regulated investment advice.

Nothing on this website — including the risk profiler, any calculator, illustration or article — constitutes investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security or scheme.

3. Commission disclosure

You do not pay Niveshmart a fee. We receive trail commission from the Asset Management Company whose schemes you invest in through us. This is paid out of the scheme's Total Expense Ratio and is not an additional deduction from your investment amount.

In accordance with SEBI Circular SEBI/IMD/CIR No. 4/168230/09 dated 30 June 2009 and the AMFI Code of Conduct for Mutual Fund Distributors, the following sets out the comparative commission receivable by us across the competing schemes of the fund houses whose products we distribute.

Before you publish this page, verify every number in the table above against your own AMC empanelment terms and current AMFI requirements, and update the ranges to match what you actually receive. The figures shown are industry-typical placeholders. Publishing inaccurate commission disclosure is a compliance breach — this is the one table on the site that must be checked by your compliance contact before launch.

Beyond this, we commit to two things. We will disclose the specific commission structure applicable to any scheme we recommend to you, before you invest. And where a direct plan would better suit your circumstances, we will say so.

We receive no payment from you, and no incentive contingent on favouring one AMC over another beyond the standard structures disclosed above.

3A. Insurance — a separate capacity

Our AMFI registration covers mutual fund distribution only. It does not authorise insurance distribution, which is regulated separately by IRDAI. Where insurance is discussed, it is solicited in a different capacity entirely:

What this means in practice. We solicit and service only those products that IRDAI has approved as POS products and for which the broker holds a tie-up with the insurer. We do not underwrite risk and we do not act as an insurer. We do not collect premium in any personal account — payment goes directly to the insurer or through the broker's authorised channel.

Commission on insurance is paid by the broker, not by you, and we will disclose the scale of commission on any product offered to you if you ask. We will never offer you a rebate of premium or commission — Section 41 of the Insurance Act prohibits it, and so does our appointment.

Insurance is a subject matter of solicitation. Any premium indicated before a proposal is accepted is indicative and subject to the insurer's underwriting.

4. Risk disclosure

Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks. Read all scheme related documents carefully before investing.

The value of your investment can fall as well as rise and you may get back less than you invested. Past performance is not indicative of future returns and does not guarantee future performance.

Every calculator, projection, worked example, risk profiler output and illustration on this website uses assumed rates of return, for planning purposes only. These are not forecasts, promises or guarantees. Actual returns will differ, and no rate of return is assured on any mutual fund scheme. Our tools also exclude taxes, exit loads and expense ratios, all of which affect what you actually receive.

5. Grievance redressal matrix

If you are unhappy with our service or your investments, please escalate in this order:

LevelWhereTimeline
1 — Us Email email with "Grievance" in the subject line Acknowledged in 2 working days, resolved within 15
2 — The AMC Each AMC has an investor grievance officer; details are on the scheme information document and the AMC website Per AMC policy
3 — AMFI amfiindia.com Per AMFI policy
4 — SEBI SCORES scores.sebi.gov.in Per SEBI policy
5 — SEBI SMART ODR smartodr.in — online dispute resolution for unresolved matters Per portal policy

6. Official channels — protect yourself from impersonation

These are our only official channels. Please treat anything else claiming to be Niveshmart as unverified:

We will never ask you to transfer money to a personal bank account — not ours, not anyone's. All mutual fund payments go directly to the AMC or through an authorised platform, in your own name. If anyone asks otherwise using our name, contact us immediately.

Our official social media handles and website URL are registered with AMFI as required by SEBI.

7. Privacy policy

What we collect. When you submit the contact form or the risk profiler, we collect your name, mobile number, email, city, occupation, your answers to the profiler questions, and anything you write in the free-text fields. If analytics is enabled we also collect anonymous usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location.

Why. Solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare for our conversation, and — if you become a client — administer your investments.

Where it's stored. In Google Cloud Firestore, within our private Firebase project, accessible only to authenticated administrators. The website is hosted on Firebase Hosting. Risk profiler responses are not publicly readable.

Who we share it with. Nobody, except where required to execute a transaction you have asked for (the relevant AMC, registrar or transaction platform), or where required by law or a regulator.

Marketing. We will not add you to any mailing list without explicit consent, and every communication carries an unsubscribe option.

Your rights. Write to email at any time to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Deletion requests are actioned within 30 days, subject to records we are required by regulation to retain.

Cookies. This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. If Google Analytics is enabled it sets its own cookies to measure traffic; blocking these in your browser will not affect the site.

8. Terms of use

This website is for general information only. Content is provided in good faith and reviewed periodically, but we make no warranty that it is complete, current or free of error. Regulations, tax rules and scheme features change.

You are responsible for your own investment decisions. You should read the relevant Scheme Information Document, Key Information Memorandum and Statement of Additional Information before investing, and consider independent professional advice on your tax position.

The risk profiler produces an indicative categorisation from your self-reported answers. It does not account for your full financial position, and is a discussion aid rather than a recommendation.

We accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on information published here. Nothing on this site creates a client relationship until both parties have agreed to one and the required onboarding is complete.

External links are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for third-party content. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at your city have exclusive jurisdiction.

Have this page reviewed before launch. Ask your compliance contact or a compliance consultant to check three things in particular: the commission ranges in section 3, that the ARN and EUIN are correct, and that the grievance matrix in section 5 matches current escalation routes. It's a short, inexpensive check that removes the only real regulatory risk in this website.
